I
have practised in the Financial Services Industry for over 20 years,
beginning my career with the Halifax Building Society as a Mortgage
Consultant in 1988. After 10 years with the Halifax, I moved to a
firm of Independent Mortgage Advisers in Hereford, where I qualified
in the provision of mortgages and Financial Services gaining the
Certificate in Financial Planning and Certificate in Mortgage Advice
and Practice.
Specialising originally in the mortgages
sector, I then owned and operated my own Mortgage Franchise with
Mortgageforce for 2 years, gaining full, personal Financial Services
Regulation with the FSA and being able to offer mortgages from the
whole of the market.
In 2005, I was invited to join the team here
at Independent Solutions as their dedicated in-house Mortgage
Adviser.
Since this time, I have now returned to
providing a dedicated, comprehensive financial planning service to
my clients, whilst at the same time nurturing a special interest in
the often different financial needs and expectations of the modern
woman. I believe passionately that the woman of today must have
available to her the best, independent, professional advice in
relation to investments, insurance-based products and pensions: at
this time more than at any other, a woman needs to be able to
safeguard and protect her financial future and that of those closest
to her.
