Chris has worked in
financial services for twenty-five years and before becoming a
Director of Independent Solutions worked as a consultant & Senior
manager for Pearl Assurance.
Qualifications include; the Financial-Planning Certificate, The Chartered Insurance Institute’s Certificate in Savings and Investment and The Institute’s advanced paper in Taxation & Trusts.
He is keen to work with his fellow directors in building a distinctive regional brand for the company as a provider of quality advice and excellent service.
He enjoys the job of helping clients with their financial planning, and he would describe himself essentially as a general practitioner. He has focused recently on open market options at retirement (helping clients about to retire in obtaining a most competitive annuity for their pension fund) and pension transfers from closed, or badly performing, personal pension schemes.
He is also keen to assist clients reduce their Inheritance Tax liability.
